EQuIP tools piloted in Jamaica

In 2022, participants from various institutions directly or indirectly involved in countries’ industrial policymaking process were trained on components of the revamped EQuIP toolkit. These institutions included the Jamaica Productivity Centre, the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, Jamaica’s Manufacturers and Exporters Association, the Private Sector Organization of Jamaica, Jamaica’s Special Economic Zone Authority, the Planning Institute of Jamaica, the Ministry of Finance and the Public Sector, Jamaica’s Business Development Corporation, the Scientific Research Council, the University of Technology, the Ministry of Industry, Investment and Commerce and the Tax Administration.
